Javaid Mughal
Did his MA (Hons.) Visual Arts from National College of Arts in 2018 and earned his merit Scholarship same year. He started his career as Cinema Board Painter at Royal Park Lahore. Learned Traditional Calligraphy, Graphic Design and with a very keen interest in figurative and realistic painting which lead him to graduate from Punjab University College of Art & Design 2015.
Javaid awarded many art prizes along with Won Anna Molka Painting award from PUCAD.Won ADA, Award in Painting category, 14th ‘Annual Emerging Talent’ Art Prize at VM Art Gallery, Karachi in 2015. Adcom Leo Burnett Merit Prize from Arjumand Painting Award at Gallery6, Islamabad 2017. ‘TAKE OFF’ Alhamra Annual Art Exhibition by Young Artists 2018. 'Feature Emerging Artist' in APERO CATALOGUE at California, USA 2019. Selected for Artrooms Awards at Le Dame Art Gallery, London 2019. 3rd Prize at Arjumand Painting Award from Gallery6 at IAF, Islamabad 2019. Won ADA award in painting category 2021. He has done numerous group exhibitions in Pakistan and also displayed his work at USA and UK.
